Hello to everyone. We really hope that you and yours are very well. We would like to share that Chile is gradually beginning to open its borders for international passengers, as follows:
From November 23rd, the international airport of Santiago (SCL) will be opened. Gradually other border crossings will be opened in the next weeks.
From November 23rd can only enter to Chile, residents of foreign countries not listed as ”High Risk Country” by the World Health Organization (check the attached document. All countries saying ”Community Transmission” are considered of high risk)
This measure has a validity of 2 weeks, so from December 7th (aprox) can enter to the country ever passenger from every country.
Requirements for coming to Chile (will be required by the airline before embarking):
- Fill the electronic formular up to 48 hours before the embarkation. This formular will ask contact information, health background and information of your trip. This formular can be filled in this web.
- A negative PCR Test SARS-Co-V-2 with maximum 72 hours of the arrival to Chile and issued by a recognized laboratory by the the health authorities of the country of origin.
- Health insurance including coverage for Covid-19 during the whole stay in Chile.
Once in Chile, the domestic trips can be done under the regulations of the ”Step by Step National Plan”. In particular the transportation between regiones in only authorized between sectors (comunas) in steps 3, 4 or 5. This plan considers the traceability of the passengers. Everyone coming to Chile accept they are under a period of vigilance of 14 days. In this period all passengers must inform in a daily basis their location and health conditions through a system that will be launched soon. Not doing this can bring criminal penalties from the Chilean law.

ARGENTINA WELCOMES BACK TOURISTS FROM NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES AS IT REOPENS ITS BORDERS
The regulation is effective starting November and it reaches travelers from Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia.
In this first stage, tourists will only be allowed to fly to Buenos Aires and stay in the metropolitan area of the Argentine capital. Continue.
