Dear Travel Partner,
this month, we are starting off with an announcement that we are very proud of.
As you know, sustainability is very important to us and we think that fair working conditions apply to everybody – even animals! Surely you remember the pure joy and fascination of observing a wild animal in their natural habitat and obviously a free and undisturbed animal is essential to creating such memorable experiences. This is why we do not tolerate any form of illegal hunting, capturing or trading of animals. On our tours, our licensed guides inform the travelers accordingly and educate them on how to behave near wild animals.
We are happy to announce that South American Tours is now a formal signatory of the WTTC’s Declaration on Illegal Wildlife Trade! This was an important step to not only actively support the fight against illegal trade in wildlife worldwide but also to find solutions on how the travel & tourism industry can help eradicate Illegal Wildlife Trade.
